Your teammates are shouting "GET RE" and "stop flacciding" — here is the whole TagPro vocabulary, alphabetically, so you can find a word fast.

TagPro slang, A to Z
- anti-re
- Blocking the enemy player who's waiting to regrab. Stops their regrab chain.
- block
- Physically getting in an opponent's way to protect your flag carrier. You don't always need to make contact; being in the lane is often enough.
- boat
- Deliberately stalling instead of capturing when you could score. Against the rules — don't do it.
- cap
- A capture. Three wins a public game.
- chase
- Pursuing the enemy flag carrier to return your flag.
- contain
- Cutting off every escape route around an enemy carrier instead of lunging at them. Almost always better than going for the kill.
- fc
- Flag carrier. Whoever is currently holding a flag.
- flaccid
- Grabbing the flag and immediately popping. Wastes your team's pressure. The thing new players get told off for most.
- get ahead
- Positioning yourself between the enemy carrier and their base. They can't score through you.
- grab D
- Defending by letting them grab, then popping them right away. Clears your base but it's risky.
- handoff
- One attacker baits the defenders away while a second attacker grabs cleanly.
- jj
- Juke Juice.
- juke
- Faking one direction to get a defender to commit, then going the other way.
- kiss
- Deliberately running into the enemy flag carrier while you're carrying too. Both flags reset.
- lead
- Escorting your carrier from in front, usually holding TagPro, clearing the path home.
- mb
- "My bad." Typed after a mistake. Defuses tension surprisingly well.
- nf
- Neutral flag mode. One yellow flag in the middle instead of two team flags.
- no-grab D
- Defending by pushing attackers off the flag so they never get it. The safer option, and the better default while you're learning.
- nubstep
- Leaving your regrab spot to chase, getting juked, and losing the cap because of it.
- O / D
- Offense and defense. "I'll D" means you're defending.
- o/d
- Offensive defense. Sitting in the enemy base to stop their carrier from capping, without grabbing yourself. Not the same as O/D above — confusing, but both are in common use.
- poost
- The small shove a ball gives everything nearby when it pops. You can pop yourself on purpose to knock an enemy off a button.
- pub
- A public game, as opposed to a private group.
- pups
- Power-ups.
- rb
- Rolling Bomb.
- re / regrab
- Sitting on your empty enemy flag tile waiting for the flag to come back, so you can grab it the instant it does. Keeping a regrab chain going is one of the highest-value habits in the game.
- regrab chain
- Your carrier dies, the player on re grabs immediately, and the pressure never stops. Repeat until someone caps.
- reset
- Both flags returning home at once.
- return
- Popping the enemy carrier, which sends your flag home.
- sb / someball
- A player who hasn't set a name. Usually, but not always, new.
- smurf
- An experienced player on a new or unnamed account.
- snipe
- Using a speed pad or bomb to launch yourself at a distant flag carrier. Aim where they're going, not where they are.
- spiking
- Popping yourself on purpose. In neutral flag it's a legitimate tactic — it resets the flag to the middle or respawns you somewhere more useful.
- tp
- Two meanings. Usually the TagPro power-up. Sometimes shorthand for the game itself.
